Let’s make storytelling better!

What is all this about?

I am expanding my training provision into online courses which will be a combination of videos, individual and pair story practice, whole group zoom meetings and individual coaching and I would like your help. If you are wondering who I am, you can find out more about me clicking on the drop-down ‘contents’ menu in the top right hand corner of this page or the social links just under the photo at the top of the page.

Tell me more…

I am looking for a group of 30 people who would be prepared to have a twenty minute one-to-one chat with me to research what people’s real needs are so I can create an online course that actually delivers. This pilot course will be for new storytellers, so either those who have done absolutely nothing but have seen storytelling and like it, or those who have had a go and want to go further but aren’t sure how to improve. If that is you and you’re interested - great! Just send me an email to say you’re happy to be interviewed and we can arrange a time. If that’s not you but the description fits someone you do know - also great! Copy the web address of this page and send it on to them. Thanks!

I’m Interested. How does it work?

  • I will take up only twenty minutes of your time

  • I will ask you about what is hard for you as a beginner storyteller

  • I will ask you what success might look like

  • Our conversations will be on Zoom or Skype and I will record them, transcribe them and use them to find out more about storytellers’ needs

  • Anything you say is completely confidential and nobody will know you’ve taken part (unless you tell them - which is ok)

  • If you want, you can be kept in the loop about when the pilot course will be ready but there’s no obligation

  • I hoping to get the interviews sorted in the next 2 - 3 weeks

  • You will be helping make storytelling better!

Thanks for your interest and, if you want to take part, just email me to let me know and I will get back in touch with you straight away to sort out a mutually convenient time. All the best and thanks for your help - Michael
